Dr. Zoltan Simandi

Zoltan Simandi has obtained his Ph.D. in biomedical sciences and currently a postdoctoral fellow. His doctoral and postdoctoral research investigates molecular mechanisms of embryonic stem cell differentiation, neurodevelopment and neurodegenerative diseases. He takes multidisciplinary approaches to determine how epigenetic marks, especially histone arginine methylation become disrupted with aging, leading to neurological disorders.
